After joining BlaBlaCar in 2021, Victor set in place the company’s first EVP, career site, and long term employer branding strategy to more efficiently attract talent in the tech industry.

Company culture is built by the people within. Often, it’s the small things that make a big difference to the overall working environment, and will have an impact on the overall brand through word of mouth (for better or worse). However, these things tend to be more difficult to highlight through channels like the career site, so how can we leverage having employees that care about what they do and each other?

Being an employer in tech can come with certain benefits when it comes to brand attractiveness, but it also comes with stereotypes that aren’t always helpful. Highlighting the people and what makes the company’s culture special can be a challenge, but can make a big difference when trying to stand out in a competitive sector.
