After completing her degree in economics, Lara also earned an MBA and decided to combine business with human resources. She began her career in 2005 as an assistant on the Employer Partner project, and very soon after that, she became a coordinator. A major turning point occurred 5 years later when she moved to France to study foreign human resource management practices. Enriched with new perspectives and, as she says, guided by intuition, she returned to SELECTIO to work on the Employer Partner project again, but this time as a manager continuing the mission of building better workplaces and improving the quality of human resource management. In 2023, she took on the role of leader for the Equal Pay Champion certification, the first project aimed at recognizing organizations that are leading the way in reducing pay disparities.
